Term 2

Hi All

I hope that you all had a wonderful break and ready for another action packed term! 

We ended Term 1 on a high note with the Student Council's Dress up day.

The pic collage above typifies our last day. We spent the first part of the day making masks to go with the story of the; 'Little Red Hen'. We then acted it out and later it was TRUMP time

Winter uniforms!! That will make our first week back interesting. On Monday we are joined by Zoe Richmond and Kolio Tugaga. Malia O' Kane starts on Thursday.

Thursday is Cross Country!! I know you have received a notice and there has been mention of the details of the day on the school website. Please remember your child needs to wear their house colour t shirt! with their green shorts--no white polo on that day!

Round up of Term 1 weeks 9 and 10

Hi Everyone

Another glorious day and 1 week to go before school holidays. Your children have had a mighty first term at school. I am delighted with the progress that they all are making and also with their continued enthusiasm for learning. 

During week 9 they dabbled in more Easter craft.

This week and next week in maths we are learning about measuring.

On Tuesday the children had great fun playing hockey in the Hockey Festival.

This week; tomorrow I will be out of the classroom for a planning day with the rest of the Rutherford team teachers. Liz Hooker will be teaching in Room 1. Friday is the Student Council Dress Up day. Hopefully you will all have received the school email explaining about the dress up day. Our children can dress up in anything that begins with S or P.
